This suburban infill development project is located on a key corner site within walking distance of the Kelmscott Train Station and Town Centre. It consists of a total of 34 single level, walk-up apartments being a mix of one and two bedroom types. A generous external communal open space area is provided within the site as well as secure car parking. The apartments are then located to the perimeter of the site, primarily to the street boundaries, to encourage good interaction internally within the site and to the streetscape and to provide a pleasant outlook to the treed verge and hills beyond. The apartment layouts are efficient in their planning so as to maximise the area of bedrooms and living spaces and to provide a greater sense of space. The planning provides individual, private entries for most of the apartments and facilitates cross-ventilation by having openings on both sides.
