Cassidae Terrace
This commission was seen as an opportunity for a contemporary architectural solution to a new family house in the northern corridor of Perth. Aluminium clad, flat roof forms contrast with the surrounding pitched roofs and envelope generous spaces within. A central double height void, with north facing external louvre windows, assists with cross ventilation through the house and introduces natural light into the interiors. Lighting and a rich palette of materials provides additional layers of interest to the rectilinear forms.
